Looking out into the deep blue waters,
One can feel at peace without bothers;
Away from all the world's dark ways,
And into the lightest of happy days.

The waves lap upon the glowing shore,
Reminding of the beauties never more;
The waves of sweet smells and taste
Take away our minds with frantic haste.

The wind blows salt into my swept hair,
Tickling my nose with the slightest of care;
It wistles across the sky's limitless space,
All to dance across my sun burnt face.

The sun sets in brilliant reds and yellows,
Glimmering off vast underwater meadows;
Dissapearing behing our worlds edge,
Tommorrow it'll return, that is it's pledge.

And peace becomes the sunless waves,
Moving in at their gentlest of pace;
To meet the ghost crabbs upon the sand,
Of which some have been held in my hand.

The dark horizon makes way to little glimmers
As you see the lights of far off city shimmers,
To dance their way across the deep dark sea,
For all the night's watchers to come and see.

A poem expressing my feelings while I looked out at the ocean off the coast of Corpis Cristi.

My words do not do it justice.

From childhoods hour
I have not been as others were,
I have not seen as others saw

I think you did the ocean a great deal of justice here. Theres nothing wrong with this poem that I see, but I think it might be good to make use of metaphor more often. Thats all I could think of. Nice poem, keep up the good.
